BN secretary-general Datuk Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor also joined the Prime Minister at the meeting.
The first batch of State Assemblymen met by Najib comprised Ranum Mina who is the State Assemblyman for Opar, Datuk Peter Nansian Ngusie (Tasik Biru), Tan Sri Adenan Satem (Tanjung Datu), Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi (Santubong) and Dr Abang Abdul Rauf Abang Zen (Demak Laut).
When met by reporters earlier, Tengku Adnan said the meetings were part of the initiatives taken by the Prime Minister under his Political Transformation Programme.
The meetings were also a follow-up to the meeting Najib had with the BN Members of Parliament in Kuala Lumpur on Jan 8, he added. — Bernama
