PAS MP for Titiwangsa Dr Lo Lo Ghazali is seriously ill at the Hospital Selayang, in Selangor, where she is being treated for lung cancer.
Her family is by her side and a large group of PAS supporters have also gathered to pray for her safety.
"We thank everyone including the hospital staff and doctors for trying their best to help her and all the prayers for her well-being. At the moment, it is not convenient for her to receive vistors as she is still receiving complicated treatment," her family said in a statement on Sunday.

Around lunch time, speculation buzzed around the Pakatan Rakyat circles that she had succumbed to her illness. But that proved to be false.
Born on August 2, 1957, Lo' Lo shares the same birth month as the nation. She is a medical graduate of University Kebangsaan Malaysia and a first-term MP. She is well-regarded in PAS circles and considered to be among a new breed of 'power' women capable of routing the well-established Wanita UMNO led by Shahrizat Jalil.
"She is still in intensive care and we pray for her," PKR Rembau leader Badrul Hisham Shaharin told Malaysia Chronicle.
In the event that the worst tragedy overtakes Dr Lo Lo, there will be no by-election because the 3-year timeline has passed. The seat will be supervised her party colleagues.
