The HISTORY I taught in school says that 31 August 1957 was Merdeka/Independence Day, the day we gained our INDEPENDENCE. Now I hear that we were not COLONISED.
I APOLOGISE to all the students I “bluffed” all those years. To prove my sincerity I intend to go tonight (8:00pm) to learn the truth at the PJ Civic Centre.
I remember using these two quotations during History lessons:

“Real knowledge is to know the extent of one’s ignorance.” Confucius.
I also remembered telling you guys don’t believe everything I tell you like, “a rolling stone gathers more moss”. I did tell you chickos that a rolling stone will have no time to gather moss but will surely fall into the river/longkang.
Tonight, I will celebrate tomorrow’s Malaysia Day. I hope to learn the TRUTH.
