A source close to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has toldMalaysiakini that the long-overdue Auditor-General’s Report will be tabled in Parliament on Monday.
However, when approached for confirmation, other sources said this may not be the case, as the date mentioned is the date fixed for the committee to discuss the report.
In another development, PAC member Tony Pua said the much-awaited report might be tabled by Monday.
“We are scheduled to meet the auditor-general on Oct 24 (Monday), so I assume we may get the report before that,” he toldMalaysiakini.
However, the DAP representative for PJ Utara also noted that the meeting date could be changed if Parliament does not get the report by Monday.
