Residents from Desa Seri Putra in Putrajaya have surrounded a group of about 200 people they suspect are foreigners over rumours that these people are slated to receive Malaysian identity cards (IC) and given voting rights.
According to PAS Youth exco Mohd Adram Musa (right in pix), the residents have surrounded the group at a resort near the administrative capital.
Mohd Adram, who is also the deputy chaiperson of his wing's democratic rehabilitation and people’s mobilisation bureau, toldMalaysiakini that his fellow party activists and Desa Seri Putra residents received information about the matter from party workers.
Starting at 7.30 this morning, they followed six buses carrying the suspected foreigners until their arrival at the said resort.
