We had recently got to know that defeated Kota Melaka MCA MP Wong Nai Chee has been appointed as the prime minister's political secretary for Chinese section.We are wondering if this Wong Nai Chee would be just another Matthias Chang, the one time political secretary to former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad, who had antagonised many Chinese with his actions defending many of his ex-boss's sporadic racialist attacks on the Chinese community.
We wish to advise Nai Chee, if you are really serious about your role as the prime minister's polticial secretary for Chinese section, do not make yourself a target of ridicule by the community that you really wish to represent.
Otherwise, your role would be just yet another wastage of public funds (the salary paid to you) and a mere window dressing for Umno. You are not a "patung" isn't it so?
