Deputy IGP: Bombs at KL courts had fireworks material

A chemical analysis of the three bombs detonated outside the KL court complex at Jalan Duta points to combustible materials found in fireworks.

According to deputy inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar, a chemical analysis had confirmed the material used in the bombs.

He said that the bombs were detonated with a timer and said the resulting explosion was not very strong because of the materials used, reported Star Online.

Khalid adds that investigations are ongoing and that no one has thus far come forward to claim the RM10,000 reward for information that will lead to the conviction of the culprit.
