It's the last throw of the dice and all right-thinking Malaysians must flush out the crooked BN regime at the 13th general election.

Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak has four aces to enable him to win the 13th general election: Ace of hearts: Apology; Ace of diamonds: Felda shares listing; Ace of clover: Civil servants; and Ace of spades (Aladdin’s lamp): The Election Commission (EC).
First of all, the ace of hearts is Najib’s apology to the people of Selangor and Kedah for Barisan Nasional’s past mistakes. This sham of an apology is meant to win over the hearts of gullible voters and there will be many who will be taken in.
Second in the list is the ace of diamonds and because diamonds are precious stones signifying wealth, it refers to the listing of the Felda shares which will bring a massive windfall for Najib, which can then be used for a myriad of purposes to further his own interests.
Thirdly, we have the ace of clover. The Irish people believe that the 4-leaf clover brings good luck but the clover in the card deck is a black 3-leaf one. This clover represents the three major races of Malaysia in the civil service which Najib hopes will remain as BN’s loyal vote-bank and bring him luck in the coming polls.
Last but not least is the ace of spades which is also known as Aladdin’s lamp and this is none other than the EC, which, like the genie of Aladdin’s lamp, is always ready to do Najib’s bidding.
Indeed, Najib has a very formidable hand in the 5-card poker game. To match Najib, the opposition Pakatan Rakyat will need: A Full House, Straight, and Flush.
A “Full House” is when all the cards are in use, for example 3 Kings and 2 Jacks or 3 Tens and 2 Fives. A “Full House” is when Pakatan has the support of each and every Malaysian voter. Only when this situation exists, then all the phantom voters and the foreign workers/voters can be overcome.
Also, no matter where the eligible Malaysian voters are transferred to, their vote will still go to Pakatan. Frankly speaking, a “Full House” is impossible going by the fact that Malaysians are a gullible lot and easily duped by the BN government’s sweet-talk.
Next is “Straight”. This is when the cards are in the consecutive order, for example: 6,7,8,9,10 or 9,10, Jack, Queen, King. “Straight” in the political sense means no crooked dealings and to talk plainly and be transparent, honest and straightforward in word and in administration. This Pakatan can do but certainly not BN nor the EC.
As for “Flush”, it means that not only are the cards in a consecutive order but also from the same family, for example: 6,7,8,9,10 all in spades. Of course in the political sense, Pakatan needs to flush out BN’s misdeeds and PKR’s Rafizi Ramli has so far flushed out the Cattle-Condo Scandal and the RM410,000 Banquet Scandal. But will all these plus many other past scandals inspire the rakyat to flush BN out of Putrajaya?
We need a ‘Full House’ to flush out BN
Malaysian voters are fickle and therefore may not give Pakatan the winning hand. As such, there is a need for Bersih 3.0, after all, to flush out or exorcise the phantom voters because the EC is the main stumbling block to Pakatan winning the general election. These dubious voters are like the grains of sand on the seashore and this issue has reached an alarming state especially in KL and Selangor.
And that is not even talking about the shifting of voters and other shenanigans by the EC. Even Selangor Menteri Besar, PKR’s Khalid Ibrahim’s name has been moved about! Clearly, the genie of the EC is working overtime to tamper with the voter rolls. The 13th general election will be the biggest ever electoral fraud in world history. Yes, this is the epitome of Malaysia Boleh!
Najib, BN and all their cronies will play a crooked card game and deal the rakyat a lousy hand. This is absolutely unacceptable. The person who shuffles the deck of cards is supposed to be neutral and so must the EC. But this is definitely not the case in Malaysia.
The rakyat must let Najib know that we do not want foreign workers tampering with the state of the nation nor EC manipulating to keep BN entrenched in Putrajaya because a rigged election does not represent the genuine voice of the rakyat. Electoral sham does not a true democracy make.
As it is now, the mainstream media has been reduced to being the BN government’s mouthpiece and many of the reports on the opposition are nothing but lies or manipulated half-truths designed to put Pakatan’s leaders in a bad light. With the mainstream media spewing venom at the opposition, Bersih’s demand for fair and balanced media coverage can be thrown into the dustbin.
To be brutally honest, all seven of Bersih’s remaining demands will never be met and the Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) to reform the electoral process is just an eyewash to hoodwink the public. To put it simply, Najib and the BN government are only busy thinking up 1,001 ways to con the rakyat so that they can remain in power in order to continue their plundering ways.
Yes, Pakatan and all right-thinking Malaysians must support one another to march forward in solidarity to state our right to demand what is good for ourselves and for the nation. We need a “Full House” to flush out BN and to put an end to all the malaise that has been afflicting this wonderful nation of ours.
It is time to wake up to a new government or else our Southeast Asian neighbours will forge ahead leaving us far behind in terms of human development and progress. Please take note that this write-up does not condone gambling save to state that we must not gamble anymore with our future by voting in a crooked regime. The 13th general election is the last throw of the dice – make it count!
