Noh calls Selcat a 'kangaroo court'
Selangor's Select Committee on Competency, Accountability and Transparency (Selcat) is a "kangaroo court" aimed at covering up the wrongdoings of the Selangor government, said Selangor BN liaison deputy chief Noh Omar.
Noh said previous Selcat hearings had always reached a conclusion that they were “satisfied” with the state government’s explanations, leaving wrongdoers unpunished.
"They only expose things, they never punish anybody, (so) what is the point?" he told reporters at a press conference in Putrajaya today.
Asked if he will attend the on-going hearing, his replied: "It is a waste of time."
"They never subpoenaed me. By right, they should subpoena me if they want me to go. They even asked me to apply for permission."
