SANDAKAN, May 25 — Deputy Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Lajim Ukin today hit out at those who spread rumours that he was quitting Umno.
The Beaufort member of parliament, who is also an Umno Supreme Council member, said the rumour was spread with the aim of sidelining him from Barisan Nasional (BN) and Umno mainstream politics.
“I’m still in BN, a deputy minister and a member of the Umno Supreme Council. The rumour is spread by those irresponsible so that the political situation becomes tense.
“This normally happens with the approaching of the general election,” he told reporters after launching the Batu Sapi chapter of the Association of Sabah Bumiputera Cultural Heritage (Waris) here tonight.
Lajim, who is Waris president, said this in response to rumours that he was leaving Umno.
He advised the people not to believe in rumours. — Bernama
sekarang dah jelas bahawa Lajim akan terus berjuang bersama UMNO.
ReplyDeleteYeah, indeed. No more speculations.
Deletetak perlu lagi nak percaya khabar2 angin seperti ini, ini sengaja dibuat untuk memecah belah UMNO.
ReplyDeleteSome people like rumours so much and I don't understand why.
Deletesure or not its just rumours??
ReplyDeleteI think it was just rumours.
DeleteLajim should have told the press earlier to clear this matter up when he there was rumours of him quitting UMNO.
ReplyDeleteBanyak khabar angin mengenai datuk Lajim. Namun yang pasti Datuk Lajim tetap berjuang untuk penduduk Sabah.
ReplyDeleteNever trust on rumours.
DeleteLajim will continue to strive in BN.
ReplyDeleteLajim no need to jump to PKR, 80 ex-PKR leaders and members here have joined the Barisan Nasional through Umno.
ReplyDeleteit is pointless to remain with an opposition party which will not be able to do anything good for the people. On the other hand, the BN will struggle for the people
ReplyDeleteanggap saja ada puak terdesak yang kerjanya hanya memerhati gerak geri pemimpin BN untuk mencari apa2 tindakan pemimpin itu yang boleh dikaitkan dengan tindakan keluar parti..
