A fake email making rounds on the Internet has been exposed for what it's worth.
The email includes a picture of a mansion, where it was claimed to be the future home of Kelantan Menteri Besar Tuan Guru Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat.
A pro-UMNO Facebook page had earlier posted the image alleging that Nik Aziz, well known for breaking tradition by staying put in his family home and only using the Menteri Besar residence in Kota Bharu for official functions, had been using funds collected from Kelantanese to build his private 'palace'.
Several netizens however were quick to identify the palatial residence, which is located in Kampung Utan Ibus in Perlis and which they pointed out belonged to a businessman in the state.
The mansion can also be seen by motorists using the Kuala Perlis-Changlun highway.
