PKR today accused Umno of being the biggest beneficiary from Malaysia's procurement of two French made submarines.
At a press conference today, PKR vice-president Tian Chua said Umno had made money through "taxi companies" such as Perimekar Sdn Bhd and Terasasi Ltd.
He said that the companies had "moved money around", circumventing French anti-graft laws and purportedly funnelled money into the hands of Umno and political figures.
Chua made the allegation based on a document marked 37, which is part of 153 documents seized by French police from arms maker Thales Group.
It is believe that the original document was leaked online by Asia Sentinel editor John Berthelsen.
