Blog sites have been publishing that an investigation was made and it was discovered that Mentri Besar Perlis, Datuk Seri Mat Isa Sabu who claims to hold a PhD from University of New Port in USA, is alleged to be a FAKE.
The investigation had reveal that there is NO such recognised University in the United States of America.
The Head of the UMNO Youth Bandar Arau branch, Syed Atif Syed Abu Bakar had lodged a police report on the matter and is seeking the police to investigate on the matter and take appropriate action.
A month ago, it was reveal that a Facebook account was opened to seek the views of the Perlis people and others on the view on the MB Perlis PhD credentials. The response was very encouraging while many of them doubted his qualifications.
It looks like an FLIP FLOP by a UMNO official!!!!!! a Mentri Besar of a State.
