Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Mohd Nazri Abdul Aziz called Ibrahim Ali (Independent-Pasir Mas) a 'cheat' in the Dewan Rakyat today, praising the latter's feat in 'stealing' a seat from PAS.
"He is a cheat, for cheating PAS (out of a seat)," said Nazri during Question Time in the Dewan Rakyat today.
He said that after agreeing with Ibrahim's criticism of pro-electoral reform rally Bersih 3.0 which took place on April 28.
Nazri's statement caused an uproar among PAS parliamentarians with Khalid Samad (PAS-Shah Alam) (right).

He stood up to assert that if the minister said that Ibrahim was a 'cheat' who lied to the rakyat, then they shouldn't listen to whatever else the Pasir Mas MP had to say.
Nazri countered that he did not say that Ibrahim had cheated the rakyat.
"He was elected by the rakyat, but he cheated PAS," clarified the minister.
This prompted Ibrahim himself to interject that he was "cunning" and not a "cheat", laughing off the jibe at PAS.
Ibrahim now an Independent, ran on a PAS ticket for the Pasir Mas seat in the 2008 general election.
However he then changed his colours and became a BN-friendly Independent.
An emnity of sorts developed between him and PAS as a result, which Nazri poked fun at today.

If Nazri thinks that we should congratulate Ibrahim Ali for cheating on PAS, then the logic is that we should congratulate BN b if it is able to cheat the rakyat of Malaysia! All cheats should be condemned by all clean and true Malaysians!
