KOTA KINABALU -- Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin will be making a one-day visit to Sabah this Saturday.
He will start his visit with a walkabout at the Indah Permai Bazaar in Sepanggar near here shortly after his arrival at Terminal 2, Kota Kinabalu International Airport.
Muhyiddin will later attend the breaking of fast at the Kampung Likas Jamek Mosque where he will open the mosque's Anjung Ilmu (reading section), said a statement from the Sabah Information Department today.
It said the deputy prime minister would also present tithes to elderly people, single mothers and Muslim converts, house keys to new house owners of the People's Housing Project, and a RM70,000 donation from several corporate figures to the mosque.
The deputy prime minister will also deliver 'zam-zam' water and dates for all mosques in the state on behalf of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak before returning to Kuala Lumpur, said the statement.
