JOHOR BAHARU, July 5 — Police today obtained an order to remand for four days a paranormal practitioner, Syed Abdullah Syed Hussein Al-Attas, and a woman for investigation into remarks allegedly defaming the Sultan of
Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar, which was posted in his blog,www.uncleseekers.blogspot.com.
The remand order against the blogger and the 26-year-old woman was issued by Magistrate Md Isa Mohamed.
Syed Abdullah and the woman were arrested by the Nusajaya police at about 9.45pm yesterday at the Senawang toll plaza in Seremban.
Last Sunday, thirty individuals lodged a police report against Syed Abdullah over the posting of an article in his blog which was allegedly provocative and seditious and humiliated the Sultan of Johor. — Bernama
