KUALA LUMPUR, July 4 — The government today announced that the retail price of RON97 will cost 20 sen less or RM2.60 per litre from tomorrow.
Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah said the lower price was in line with the dip in average global crude oil prices in June.
In principle, the RON97 retail price was set based on a managed float, under which the monthly price was fixed according to market forces, he said in a statement. — Bernama
