
Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said today the auditing of Universiti Selangor (Unisel) accounts was nearly complete, and a report would be released soon.

Yesterday, Selangor Barisan Nasional (BN) deputy chairperson Noh Omar Abdul challenged Abdul Khalid (right) to reveal the financial position of Unisel within a week.
Noh claimed to possess evidence that Unisel was in debt, and also accused the Selangor government of appointing politicians to the university’s board of directors to influence the institution.
Abdul Khalid in response said, “We select the members of Unisel’s board based on academic capacity.”
