SABAH DAP Vice Chairman Edward Ewol Mujie said today that he received complaint from the owner of the land N.T. 10875 at Kg Gayang near the Sg Mengkabong that he has not been paid the compensation by the government or the Petronas until today for using the land to get to the kampongs.
The Petronas gas terminal here has been using his land for their access road since the Petronas Gas Terminal started operation many years ago. Every time he approached Petronas for the payment on the compensation, he was told to wait but never received anything until today.
Edward said that the owner of the land is so angry and frustrated over the delayed of the payment of the said compensation, he erected a fence and gate and put up a notice board to notify that the road is closed for public use. However due to many people staying inside, and there is a police station, he has to allow them to use the access road to reach their home and office.
Edward urged the management of Petronas to expedite the payment of the compensation before any untoward incident happened. The access road is also badly damaged and needed urgent repair. Edward also urged the relevant authority to repair the other kampong roads for the convenience of the people living there. (DAP Media)

ReplyDeletePembayaran yang dijanjikan perlu ditunaikan. Tidak boleh memungkiri janji. Tapi kita tidak tahu juga cerita sebenar mengenai perkara ini.
