The PKR campaign bus was reportedly attacked in Perak yesterday, as de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim was in the midst of a whirlwind tour of the state.
The incident was said to have occurred at the Tapah rest area along the North-South Highway.
MediaRakyatNet, a prominent pro-Pakatan Rakyat channel on YouTube, reported the incident on its Twitter account and posted a photo showing a broken window of the bus.
PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution reproduced the information on his Twitter account early this morning, alongside a request for improved safety of the convoy.Anwar's programme in Perak will go on today, he said.
Saifuddin, when contacted earlier, said he does not have details as yet. However, he will issue a press statement later today after he obtains the relevant information.
