Two of the three detainees under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012, or Sosma, have been charged today with alleged promotion of terrorist acts.
"You have knowingly promoted the commissioning of terrorist acts with the intention of advancing an ideology, and this can be reasonably construed to be intended to threaten civilians in Syria," Yazid Sufaat's (right) charge sheet read.
Meanwhile, his acquaintance Halimah Hussein has been accused of being an accomplice to the same offence.

The fate of the third Sosma detainee Mohd Hilmi Hasim remains unknown.
Yazid and Halimah became the first to face charges under Section 130G(a) of the Penal Code, which is punishable up to a 30- year jail term and a fine.
No plea was recorded during the hearing at the Ampang magistrate's court because it does not have jurisdiction to hear the cases. They have been transferred to the Shah Alam High Court.
