Effigy of 'most hated' Indian in Malaysia burned: Waytha has betrayed us - protesters

Ex Hindraf supporters and about 500 Indians from Paya Besar, Kulim gathered today to show their protest and dissatisfaction to Waythamoorthy at an event where an effigy of him was burnt down.

Kulim Hindraf spokesmen, Mr Asogan and Mr Selva said Waytha had pawned the self-respect and dignity of the Indians with UMNO merely for his own interest.

In 2007/2008, thousands of Indians went to the street to demonstrate their unhappiness and displeasure towards the UMNO-BN government. Forgetting this historical incident, Waytha has aligned himself with UMNO. The Indians in Malaysia will never forgive Waytha for betraying the trust of these, marginalised and sidelined Indians.

Even while fasting, Waytha lied

Waytha had dramatised the fasting event to get the sympathy of the Indians but it has failed terribly. Immediately, he took an about-turn by meeting the PM and later announcing that an MOU has been signed and this would solve all the critical issues faced by the Indians. But little has he realised, many MOU appeals have been submitted to the UMNO-BN government by various parties including MIC, and so far, none have been materialized.

So it is a foolish thing to say that the UMNO-led government has agreed willingly to implement those demands forwarded by Waytha. We Indians understand well that whatever Waytha has staged was merely a good political drama.

Zul Noordin

Another person whom has got much hatred from Indians is Zulkifli Noordin, the ex-MP of Kulim. He has criticized and condemned the Hindu religion. He said that Malaysia does not belong to the Indians and they have to go back to India.

This statement from Zulkifli has angered the Indian and now the Indians, especially from Shah Alam wants to teach him a lesson by not supporting him in the election.

Now he is giving out his apology and requesting the Indians in Shah Alam to vote for him. But the Indians have known his true colours that he is an opportunist and racist. We, the Indians are showing our displeasure and are condemning his act as seditious which will harm the harmony and peace of this country.
