The People's Voice Rally due to be held on Wednesday night will carry on, with Pakatan Rakyat bigwigs led by Anwar Ibrahim, Lim Kit Siang and Hadi Awang due to address the crowd on the massive electoral fraud and irregularities in Malaysia's recently concluded general election.
"It is not true it is illegal or the police will arrest all those who attend. here is no need for any permit. This is a state-owned stadium and the owners have given permission for us to use the premises. So there is no need at all to get a permit for an assembly because this is not a street protest or assembly but people coming to an indoor stadium to weatch the Pakatan leaders speak," PK vice president Tian Chua told a press conference on Wednesday.
