A Bukit Aman officer called me at midnight:
"Bro. Our HQ is just next to Padang Merbok. We saw everything that took place during the 505 rally... very clear from the upper floors. We know what actually happened when some protesters attacked the City Hall (DBKL) personnel. They didn't heed the police advice not to confront those who set up tents there. We told them to just let it end and the tents could be removed later on... but that's how it happened..."
I do not support the rally and the opposition, and will never do.
However, a PM's aide was fast to ask some bloggers to use the video footage showing the 'fracas' in their blogs and news portal. It also goes viral on You-Tube.
This PM's officer was too excited, I guess. He was looking for a higher position at the PMO since he already got what he wanted - money and some power.
Without counter-checking the event that led to the fracas, he saw the opportunity. He was expecting the boss to recognise his speed and efficiency in managing the PMO new media team.
I believe it will backfire soon... and I also believe PM has every reason to fire him before he burns down the whole house!
