Man who 'threatened' to kill "mulut celupar" IGP to be RELEASED

Man who 'threatened' to kill "mulut celupar" IGP to be RELEASED
KUALA LUMPUR - The man who posted a threat to kill the Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar on his social media platform account will be released today, said Khalid.
Yesterday, after the police lodged a complaint on Murugan Nagaretinam, a direct-selling dealer who posted Khalid’s picture with the caption: “Can anyone just hire gunman to shoot down this police or IGP?” on his Facebook account, he had later surrendered at the Pudu police station.
He was taken to the Dang Wangi district police headquarters for his statements to be recorded.
Khalid said he had forgiven the educated man's act and hoped that he and all public members will hinder themselves from posting any kind of threatening or intimidating remarks on anyone on any social media platform, as it can be misinterpreted.
"He is a well-educated guy, but with a 'big mouth(?)(mulut celupar),
"Maybe he was angry at the time he posted that threat on Facebook, but being a learnt individual he should have curbed the urge to make it public by stating it on his account," said Khalid when met today.
Asked whether if the release of who threatened the country's police chief life is a 'too-soft' act, Khalid said it is proof that the force is not acting merely on its own whim and fancy, that every action is in accordance to the law.
"We have checked him out, he has no criminal record, and decided to let him go as the act was a spur-of-the-moment slip of temper," Khalid added. - NST
