Woman in ‘sperm abuse’ suit also claims she was physically abused

KUALA LUMPUR: The woman (pic) in the “sperm abuse” suit claims she is emotionally scarred for life from the litany of allegations hurled against her by her ex-boyfriend.

“For him to say I needed sex six times a day, was a materialistic woman and liked white men is humiliating and devastating,” said the 29-year-old mother.

“This has caused a psychological impact on me and will remain with me for life.”

During a press conference, arranged by the Voice of Women Association on Friday, Melanie (not her real name) also alleged that she was physically abused by the man just few months into their relationship.

She said she had wanted to split from Ervin Ahbabovic — a 41-year-old former Bosnian soldier — then but he refused to let her go, threatening to harm her and her family members.

Melanie said she finally built up the courage to leave him when he refused to let her attend her grandmother’s funeral last year, denying his claim that she was seeing an American professor instead.

On his request to meet their three-year-old son, Melanie said she “would never expose the child to Ahbabovic”.

Melanie also produced a letter, which confirmed that Ahbabovic was charged with outrage of modesty at a Kuala Lumpur court in 2006, but he was “discharged not amounting to acquittal” four years later.

She added she had given her statement to the police on Friday.

Voice of Women Association president Chew Hoong Ling said the “superior sperm” remark made by Ahbabovic was an insult to Malaysian men.

She urged other women, who were cheated and hurt by Ahbabovic, to come forward and the association would help them.

In response to Melanie’s allegations, Ahbabovic told China Press that “she is a smart woman” and that his only fault was that he had failed to “understand her mind”.
