KUALA LUMPUR - The security guard who shot and killed Ambank Subang Jaya branch officer Norazita Abu Talib on Wednesday had escaped with RM450,000 in cash said police.
Subang Jaya deputy police chief Supt Tan Ah Chua said police were notified of the amount by the bank during investigation.
Tan said based on the suspect’s identity card, the suspect’s name was Ardi Hamza, 37, but police would continue investigations.
“We are waiting for confirmation from the National Registration Department,” he said when contacted by Bernama, today.
During the 6.18pm incident on Wednesday, Norazita, 37, was shot by the suspect when she opened the bank’s strong room (bank vault) with another woman officer.
Norazita who has been working in the bank for 16 years died when she was shot by the suspect with a pump gun. — Bernama
