KUALA LANGAT: Sri Maju Express bus crashed into a traffic sign pillar injuring 17 passengers 3am yesterday.
The accident happened at M21.1 of the North-South Expressway near Putrajaya yesterday.
Bus Driver, Ibrahim Ahmad, 58, lost control of the vehicle and plunged into the traffic sign pillar.
Ibrahim died at Hopistal Serday around 4pm yesterday. Passengers who were injured were sent to the nearby hospitals for treatment.
One of the passenger was an American by the name of Ronald Morris.
Police are now investigating the cause of the accident as they have also alerted the United States embassy about Morris’s involvement in the accident.
