Another Attack In Sempoerna

• SEMPORNA: Police have yet to ascertain if abductors in murder of Taiwanese man and kidnapping his wife had links to Abu Sayyaf 
• criminals stormed chalet at Pom Pom Resort in Semporna
• abducted Taiwanese woman, Chang An Wei, 58, might be still alive across border 
• shot and killed Lim Min Hsu, 57, possibly during a scuffle.
• guard ran to inform the GOF (General Operations Force) 800m from scene
• found body and four empty bullet casings. wife abducted
• Chief Minister Musa Aman urged people not to panic or be influenced by rumours 
• Musa said Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) briefed him on incident
• He assured tourists Sabah is safe and incident occurred at isolated area
• we will make sure the safety of tourists is guaranteed at all times
• authorities are taking action now

I dont know if Taiwanese people will be too convinced that Sabah is safe. We have to put a real stop to this. 

The shooting and kidnapping happened 800 metres from a General Operations Force base. This means these criminals are not afraid of the ESSCOM. 

On September 24, 1985 the Abu Sayyaf people (same people, different names) attacked Lahad Datu and robbed the Standard Chartered Bank of RM200,000. I think at that time our boys did take the fight to their side, after which these attacks stopped for almost 10 years. 

We have much more firepower and military assets available now in Sabah than before. A lockdown of all sea movement and barter activities from their side for a time should also bring them down quite a bit. This nonsense really has to stop.
