KUALA LUMPUR: Former PKR member Jamaluddin Mohd Radzi said the reason why he quit the party was because it practised corruption and power abuse just 11 months after ruling Perak in 2008.
He said besides not always being on the same page as DAP, PKR failed to walk the talk because they did not protect the rights of Bumiputera in Perak.
He added that under PKR, the voices of Bumiputeras were not heard.
"Datuk Seri Mohd Nizar Jamaluddin became the menteri besar of Perak despite PKR winning more seats than Pas back in 2008 because he promised his crony positions in several government-linked companies," said the former exco member.
He added that Pas used religion as a political weapon but did not practise the Islamic way.
Nizar continued saying that the party was ruling Perak, it was involved in a lot of bribery and was not fair to other party members in terms of power and profit. - NST
