She said in a tweet reply to a question if she has filed for divorce: “Nope.”
A source, meanwhile, said she and Raja Ahmad Shahrir Iskandar Raja Salim were still married.
Her husband, Raja Ahmad Shahrir, 35, was said to have received the notice on January 16. He was also said to have requested on Monday for a two-week postponement of the divorce trial.
Nurul, 33, who was at Asli’s 16th Malaysia Strategic Outlook Conference this morning, declined to comment on the matter.
"I'm leaving now. Thank you for respecting my privacy," she said, before leaving the premises after her panel discussion ended.
The couple were married in May 2003 and have a seven-year-old daughter and four-year-old son.
The marriage was held at the home of Nurul Izzah's father, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, in Bukit Damansara.
