PKR's Johor Bahru branch chief Akmal Nasir has been called to the Dang Wangi district police headquarters at 3pm today to have his statement recorded under the Sedition Act.
This is over a probe on strategy director Rafizi Ramli's book about PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim's Sodomy II trial.
Rafizi himself was alsoquestioned at his service centre a month ago.
Rafizi told Malaysiakini that he wrote the book immediately after Anwar was convicted and sentenced to a five-year jail term by the Court of Appeal on March 7 this year.
He said that the book basically observes all that has happened in court over the course of trial, from the High Court till the Court of Appeal.
The book is titled 'Reformasi 2.0: Facts of the Anwar Ibrahim case: Where is the integrity of the court?'
Rafizi will be accompanying Akmal to meet the police today.
Akmal is one of several PKR members who had promoted the book through the online bookstore Kempenrakyat.com, where the book is still on sale for RM10 per copy.
He also serves as the director of the National Oversight and Whistleblowing Centre (Now), a non-profit NGO where Rafizi is the executive director.
