Rosmah’s denial she EMPTIES the pool each time she swims goes viral
Rosmah Mansor never fails to deliver when it comes to clicks for news article.
With a simple title, “I am not good at swimming, said Rosmah in denying the RM300, 000 water bill allegation” – the news article written in Bahasa Malaysia in news portal The Malaysian Insider, became the most read news article for the day with more than 8,000 shares in Facebook.
In the article, it was reported that Rosmah was unhappy with the lies and allegations spread about her.
One of the allegation was the RM300, 000 water utility bill for the Seri Perdana Complex before the 13th General Election.
“I am not good at swimming. If that person wanted to see me, I can tell that I am not good, I will say I don’t know, if I go to the sea, I will not swim. I will sit like in the P.Ramlee film,” she said when officiating the Wanita UMNO Nadi Negara Award 2013 and the launch of Wanita UMNO Nadi Negara Alumni event in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
Rosmah also urged the public, especially university students to analyse information before trusting the information. She also urged them not to fall for opposition’s lies on the controversial implementation of Goods and Services Tax (GST) next year.
Meanwhile, Rosmah’s husband, Prime Minister Najib Razak said the increase revenue from GST would enable the government to have more options to consider numerous demands, including the increase in allowances of civil servants.

Citing demand from the president of Cuepacs (Congress of Unions of Employees in the Public and Civil Services), who asked for the allowances to be increased, Najib said he would need to seek for new revenue streams before he could consider his demand.
“We cannot borrow money from financial institutions such as the World Bank to pay salary, allowances… cannot, it is a recipe for economic disaster,” Najib was quoted saying.
With Najib’s answer, the public now has their answer to why they are targeted as sources to increase government revenue in the form of GST. Rosmah is sad, so does the general public of Malaysia. -Harakahdaily
