NAJIB THE NEXT TO GO 'MISSING IN ACTION'? All eyes on how Najib will twist his way out of PAC enquiry

NAJIB THE NEXT TO GO 'MISSING IN ACTION'? All eyes on how Najib will twist his way out of PAC enquiry
Rafizi Ramli’s suggestion that the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) should call up and involve Najib Razak in the investigation of 1MDB regarding the issue of the company’s strategic investment is the best suggestion ever. Najib should not be left without being probed because as the chairman of the company, he must be aware of what has been happening in the company.
Given the fact that he is the Prime Minister, he should know everything that is happening in the country. Nothing should have taken place without his knowledge. According to Rafizi, the standard operation procedures of 1MDB is similar to the company it ‘kidnapped’ earlier, Terengganu Investment Authority (TIA).
According to the company's memorandum and procedures of TIA, all the decisions and activities of the company must made known to the Prime Minister. This means, any transcaction or activity under the company should take place upon the approval of the Prime Minister. TIA is actually renamed as 1MDB later on.
Maybe Najib knows something we don't
PAC should be more transparent and bold in this case in order to call up Najib for the investigation purpose. Maybe Najib can explain what he knows about the company itself. Maybe he was just given brief reports by the board of directors about the company’s activities without any depth explanation of its impacts and consequences. There is a possibility that Najib was cheated or deceived in this case.
Najib‘s act to place his faith in those people who were given the responsibility to manage 1MDB without any scrutiny is quite dangerous. We are very much aware about Najib’s ability in managing business. There is no record to show that Najib has excelled well in business and management. This provides a greater space for people to question Najib’s ability to manage and monitor a compnay under him.
Preferably, Najib should not wait for a letter from PAC requesting him to cooperate in the investigation. Instead he should come forward voluntarily to provide explanation regarding the 1MDB issue in order to save himself and clear his name from all the allegations made against him by Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
Without Naji b’s clarifications on this 1MDB issue, the mystery revolving him remains and he will be still carrying all the blames on his shoulder for whatever has happened so far.
PAC, on the same note should not hesitate to probe Najib. And the Chairman, although was appointed with Najib’s agreement should put forward the public’s interest first. PAC should serve the public and should not driven by interest for any specific individual.  - http://msomelayu.blogspot.com/
