Rosmah and newlyweds attend Parliament

Rafizi wonders if he should raise a question about the government's private jet.

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak apparently took some members of his family to Parliament to witness his tabling of the 11th Malaysia Plan today.

His wife, Rosmah Mansor, together with her newlywed daughter and her husband, watched the proceedings from the visitors’ gallery, which is located behind the opposition seats.

The MP for Pandan, PKR Secretary-General Rafizi Ramli, was apparently quite amused. He tweeted: “I’m told that Rosmah, her daughter and the Prime Minister’s son-in-law from Kazakhstan, are seated behind me inside Parliament. Will she be angry if I ask about the government’s private jet?”

A short while afterwards, Rafizi uploaded to Twitter a picture showing Rosmah, Nooryana Najwa and Daniyar Kessibayev.

“Ha3, here is a picture forwarded by a Pakatan Rakyat MP,” he wrote. “I won’t ask my question for fear of being accused of always bleating about the jet.”
