Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak should sack his bad advisers, urged a deputy minister.
Deputy Agriculture and Agro-Industries Minister Tajuddin Abdul Rahman said these advisers are only looking out for themselves.
"The prime minister's 'punahsihat' (bad advisers) should be removed [...] the problem is sometimes we are afraid to speak out.
"I know two or three of them. They don't care if Umno wins or loses (in elections).
"If the prime minister calls me I will name them. Many leaders fall because of the people around them," he was quoted as saying by Sinar Harian.
Tajuddin was speaking at the Sungai Besar Umno division meeting yesterday, in his capacity as an Umno supreme council member.
He said Najib's advisers should also not get him into trouble.
"There are many things the people can't accept. He (Najib) has to be careful. Meaning if it's no good then don't use it," Tajuddin added.
He said he has a right to speak his mind as anything bad that happens to the prime minister will also affect Umno. - M'kini
