NAJIB'S BLACK SATIRE ON MALAYSIA HAS BACKFIRED ON HIMSELF & FAMILY

NAJIB'S BLACK SATIRE ON MALAYSIA HAS BACKFIRED ON HIMSELF & FAMILY
Everyone knows that the colossal 1MDB debacle is the mother of all scandals in this country, but it is simply amazing how 1MDB is capable of denying the obvious with such a straight face.
It’s very existence is based on an audacious lie; that PetroSaudi partner is owned by none other than the Saudi King Abudllah himself, even though it was an entirely private company with a very limited capital base and whose owners were an inexperienced and youthful Prince Turki and his pal Tarek Obaid, in the hope of cashing in on their royal connections."
1MDB's deal with PetroSaudi was reportedly used as a front to siphon more than US$1 billion from the former into Good Star Limited owned by Penang-born billionaire Jho Low, while PetroSaudi never had to take out a cent of capital during the entire partnership. With that being the case, any Malaysian who can dress like a Fake Sheikh, is more than qualified enough to become a 1MDB partner.
Since July, Bank Negara has been trying to locate Executive Director Casey Tang and another former 1MDB executive Jasmine Looi to assist investigation under the Exchange Control Act 1953.”
Bank Negara had also submitted its investigation papers to the Attorney-General's Chambers which has refused to prosecute the case and declared it NFA.
Bank Negara also insisted that 1MDB provided inaccurate or incomplete information in three transactions amounting to US$1.83 billion. It has since revoked the permissions and demanded for the amount to be repatriated back to Malaysia.
Meanwhile, tonnes of leaked information and documents were continually published by the Sarawak Report, New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and the Edge Publications exposing billions of ringgit in misappropriations, embezzlement and CBT relating to the debt laden 1MDB including 1MDB’s US$1.83 billion investment with Petrosaudi and the US$2.318 billion investment in Cayman Islands,
1MDB President, Arul Kanda and BN sycophantic Ministers in turn alleged and insinuated that the documents published were doctored or falsified and called for the culprits who leaked it prosecuted while pretending to close an eye on the shenanigans going on.
Further investigation of 1MDB totally unnecessary
The failure by MACC, BNM, the Police, PAC and the ex-AG chambers taskforce to unearth any evidence, no matter how far down the wormhole they burrowed is supposed to be proof that the investigation is a waste of precious time and resources.
Therefore, the need to have a Royal Commission of Inquiry or an Independent Panel to continue probing is totally unnecessary.
It makes more sense to retire the ailing ex AG, reassign hardworking and honest MACC and SB Officers, promote greedy PAC members to more meaningful Ministerial positions than to waste precious resources probing a harmless entity like 1MDB with such a good track record.
The Conference of Rulers call to reinvestigate 1MDB hasd caught Najib’s administration by surprise and disappointment, with some Umno leaders remarking that is totally uncalled for.
DAP Lim Kit Siang should stop insinuating that 1MDB was showing utter disrespect for the Rulers when the Attorney-General and the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) had both cleared 1MDB and that it was no longer under investigation.
The public should stop speculating about 1MDB for their own good
The government wants the public to stop speculating any further and stop the rumour mongering or risk the same fate as that of ex Umno Divisional leader Khairuddin Abu Hassan and Lawyer Mathias Chang who were charged for sabotaging the economy.
Umno SecGen Tengku Adnan even called former Umno Deputy Minister Saifuddin’s defection to PKR as rubbish after he cited the cause as 1MDB and RM2.6 billion.
The government insists that all the hype about 1MDB is merely a ploy to topple a democratically elected leader, and they sincerely want Malaysians to swallow the bait, line and sinker of ridiculous reasons put forward below:
1MDB may be RM42billion in debt, but it is solidly backed by RM51.8billion in assets. The figures speak for it selves, and should cancel any lingering doubts about the stability and financial strength of the giant conglomerate.
With proven high profile national advisors like Najib himself and Ahmad Maslan who possesses a high CGPA chairing the Board, and directly overseen by the Ministry of Finance; pray tell - how can anything even go wrong?
Until today, no solid evidence has emerged linking 1MDB to alleged dubious dealings or that the company is in any kind of trouble which is why the new AG and MACC has given it a clean bill of health
1MDB is a helpless victim of vicious misinformation generated by the media and enemies of the government.1MDB should instead be praised for its financial wizardry in raising capital in such a short time via Goldman Sachs, managing its debt and its ability to pay creditors ahead of time. It shows that the company is in strong financial health despite a measly RM680 million loss in March 2014. .
The fact that none of 1MBD directors have been convicted of fraud, money laundering or embezzlement by the Ministry of Finance shows that the company has a solid foundation and an innocent victim of slander.
Najib’s genius brainchild
1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) the brainchild of Najib himself, is a strategic development company, wholly owned by the Government of Malaysia. 1MDB was established to drive strategic initiatives for long-term economic development for the country by forging global partnerships and promoting foreign direct investment.
Malaysians should be sleeping well every night, knowing that 1MDB is slowly enriching the nation and turning it into an economic powerhouse. Rest assured that our unusual Ringgit fluctuations show that Malaysia is resilient towards any world economic downturn.
Malaysians are therefore, urged to stop their silly speculation and return to their daily mundane routine. They must admit that they have been taken for a ride and totally misled by harbingers of doom like former Premier Dr Mahathir, ex DPM Muhyiddin, former Umno VP Shafie, the Royalty and the Opposition,
1MDB’s bad reputation is compounded by a biased media and a ruthless international conspiracy by other global business entities who are downright jealous of 1MDB’s runaway success.
The economic downturn, runaway prices coupled with the high standard of living, recent shocking toll hikes, GST, falling Ringgit, fuel price increases and the country’s weak performance, has nothing remotely to do with 1MDB’s paper losses.
If not because of the ‘erosion of confidence,’ brought about by the bad press, 1MDB would have been a respectable international business conglomerate today charting new and profitable courses throughout the universe and to boldly go, where no business enterprise has gone before.
Media networks, whether local or foreign has no right to interfere with the internal affairs of our nation and the government will not hesitate to sue every paper in town or abroad for reporting blatant untruths about 1MDB.
Everyone, including the media must stop spot-lighting the company, unless they have something nice to say. One day, god-willing, Malaysians will be proud to call 1MDB our national asset and our economic saviour and we will live happily ever after. - MAILBAG
