A fire broke out at the Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit of Hospital Shah Alam today, but there was no loss of life or injury, Bernama said.
The fire broke out at about 9am today, and all 36 babies have been moved to a nearby ward.
"The hospital's top crisis management skills helped them move the patients in a short time," a hospital source told the newswire.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson said the incident involved equipment at the NICU ward but the "small" fire was quickly contained, it reported.
Last October, six died and 11 were injured in the fire at the intensive care unit Hospital Sultanah Aminah in Johor Baru.
This was followed by a short circuit incident which led to the evacuation of a ward in Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh.- Mkini
