PKR Youth have accused Sungai Besar Umno chief Jamal Yunos of disrupting Muslim funeral services in the state with his 'grave digger" antics, that caused public nuisance and shortage of hearses.
"We were informed that some experienced difficulties during funeral services because of the lack of hearses at the time.
"This proves how Umno has inconvenienced the rakyat with their political gimmick gone too far," said the movement's deputy chief Afif Bahardin in a statement today.
Yesterday, Jamal commandeered 15 hearses and a coffin, to accompany him to the State Secretariat building in Shah Alam as a gimmick to protest what he claimed were the abuses in state senior citizens and funeral arrangement assistance schemes.
However he was stopped from entering the State Secretariat Building's premises by security personnel.
A heated argument also ensued as several persons criticised his interference at the state government building.
Commenting further, Afif wants the police to take action against Jamal and for the Umno leadership to apologise to the rakyat for his antics.-Mkini
