Husam kicked out of Kelantan legislative assembly

Salor assemblyperson Husam Musa was told to leave the Kelantan state legislative assembly today for breaching the Standing Orders.
The Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) representative committed the breach when seeking to interject when Kelantan Menteri Besar Ahmad Yakob wound up his debate on the royal address.
Speaker Abdullah Ya'akub told Husam to leave after he insisted to interject, despite being warned against doing so several times, Berita Harian reported.
Meanwhile, PAS organ Harakahdaily reported that Abdullah already allowed the assemblypersons time to debate the royal address.
"However, the Salor assemblyperson did not participate in the debate yesterday afternoon. It was only when deputy speaker Abdul Latif Abdul Rahman announced that sitting will end for the day that the assemblyperson stood up to speak.
"Today, the same assemblyperson stood up to speak again during the winding-up session by the government," the report read.
Husam reportedly cited a standing order to interject yesterday but was told sufficient time has been allocated for debates on the royal address.

The former PAS vice-president was trying to interject during the winding-up speech by the works, infrastructure, utilities and information technology executive councillor Hanifa Ahmad.
When contacted, Husam confirmed he was kicked out of the House but denied he was warned before that.
"There was no warning. I was escorted out on instruction of the speaker two to three minutes before proceedings ended," he added.- Mkini
