GE14: MIC submits list of candidates to Najib

MIC has submitted the list of its candidates to be fielded at the 14th general election to Prime Minister and BN chairperson Najib Abdul Razak.

In fact, MIC president Dr S Subramaniam said the party had listed at least four candidates for each seat it would contest at the GE14.

“We have submitted the list to the prime minister and from there, we will scrutinise their performance and contributions, as well as the grassroots support for them.

“Once this process is complete, we will see who has the best chance to win and this will be finalised upon discussion with Najib,” he told Bernama at the Negeri Sembilan MIC annual convention in Seremban.

Also present were MIC information chief VS Mogan and state MIC chairperson L Manickam.

Approximately 400 MIC delegates attended the convention.
