KUALA LUMPUR: Continuous rain and strong winds are expected in Kedah, Perlis, Penang and Kelantan until late tonight.
The Malaysian Meteorological Department said in a statement that similar conditions were also expected in the districts of Kerian; Larut, Matang and Selama; Hulu Perak; and Kuala Kangsar; in Perak, as well as Besut, Setiu, Kuala Nerus, Kuala Terengganu, Marang and Hulu Terengganu in Terengganu.
It also said the districts of Kinta, Kampar, Manjung, Perak Tengah, Bagan Datuk, Hilir Perak, Muallim and Batang Padang in Perak were expected to experience thunderstorms, torrential rain as well as strong winds until late today.
Similar conditions are also expected in the Cameron Highlands, Lipis and Raub in Pahang. -FMT
