Petrol and diesel prices will both go up effective midnight tonight.
According to an announcement by the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry, RON95 and RON97 will each retail at three sen more rising to RM2.29 per litre and RM2.56 per litre respectively.
Diesel, on the other hand, will increase by six sen to retail at RM2.32 per litre.
The weekly fuel price system was implemented on March 30 last year.
It is determined by global oil prices based on the Mean of Platts Singapore and the ringgit's strength against the US dollar.
The retail prices for the fuel are announced every Wednesday evening and take effect the following day.
