Caretaker Johor MB loses parliament, state seats

Caretaker Johor menteri besar Mohamed Khaled Nordin lost in the parliament seat of Pasir Gudang and state seat of Permas, according to the EC.

Harapan's Hassan Karim won Pasir Gudang with a 24,726-vote majority while Harapan's Che Zakaria Mohd Salleh won Permas with a 8,746-vote majority.

Following the declaration, Harapan state seats have increase to 26, short of three to form the state government.

Khaled's press aide told media Johor Umno that a press conference will be held tomorrow morning. -Mkini
