KOTA BARU – Parti Amanah Negara vice president Husam Musa and state party chief Wan Abdul Rahim Wan Abdullah have been barred from entering all state government premises and the palace grounds in Kelantan.
In a circular dated May 27, the state secretariat informed all state departments and local councils that both Husam and Wan Abdul Rahim were no longer allowed into state government buildings and six royal palaces.
The circular, which a special officer to the state secretary confirmed was genuine, stated that Husam and Wan Abdul Rahim are now barred from entering the government office complex in Kota Darul Naim and all the state government offices.
They are also barred from entering Istana Balai Besar, Istana Negeri, Istana Telipot, Istana Kota Lama, Istana Tumpat and Istana Persinggahan Gua Musang.
“Disciplinary action will be taken against civil servants who defy the order,” said the circular endorsed by state secretary Datuk Nazran Muhamad.
In the runup to the 14th General Election, the Kelantan palace stripped Husam and Wan Rahim of their state-conferred datukship.
Wan Rahim and Husam have yet to respond to requests for comments.
