IN ‘MAHATHIR’ PROPHECY, IS ‘A’ FOR ANWAR OR AZMIN: UMNO MAN ATTACKS AS PM SEEN TO BE SHOWING UNJUSTIFIED FAVORITISM TO ANWAR’S SCANDAL-TAINTED DEPUTY

KUALA LUMPUR – An Umno MP today took a jibe at the so-called “Mahathir” prophecy, stating that the “A” could stand for PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim or Economic Affairs Minister Azmin Ali while the “H” could be Segambut MP Hannah Yeoh.
Noh Omar (BN-Tanjong Karang) said in 1973, a friend had told him about the “Rahman” prophecy.
According to the “Rahman” prophecy, the names of the prime ministers of Malaysia are represented in the alphabets in the name “Rahman”, which is the name of the country’s first prime minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman.
The alphabet “R” is said to represent Rahman, “A” stands for Abdul Razak Hussein, “H” for Hussein Onn, “M” for Dr Mahathir Mohamad, “A” for Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and “N” for Najib Razak.
“Now there is a new ‘Mahathir’ theory.
“Does the ‘A’ stand for Anwar or Azmin? What about ‘H’?
“Is it Hannah Yeoh, who is not a Malay?” he said during the debate on the royal address at the Dewan Rakyat today.
It is not known if Azmin, the PKR deputy president, would be contesting against his mentor, Anwar, in the PKR polls in August.
Yeoh is with Pakatan Harapan’s (PH) other component party, DAP.
Noh said there were also other interesting facts about PH, including the fact that for the first time, the prime minister was from a party with fewer seats.
Mahathir’s party, PPBM, has 13 seats when compared with PKR, which won 51 seats in the May 9 polls.
Furthermore, Noh said, it took the prime minister almost 12 hours to be sworn in while waiting at the Istana Negara.
“There are more interesting facts. The ministers and deputy ministers took their oaths in stages, causing some ministries to be without ministers for almost 44 days.
“If this continues, our country will not be managed well.”
Noh said a maximum of 14 days should be set for ministers or their deputies to be appointed by the prime minister so that the country’s administration was not neglected.
