A closer look at boycott against non-Muslim products and businesses
Since late August, the call to boycott non-Muslim products and businesses have grown louder, especially on social media.
This comes amid heightened racial and religious tension over issues such as the introduction of Jawi khat (calligraphy) in the Bahasa Malaysia syllabus and controversial preacher Dr Zakir Naik.
The boycott has elicited reactions from various quarters, including the rakyat, civil societies and politicians.................................
Should Muslim Malaysians boycott buying products manufactured by the non-Muslim Malaysians?
There is a lot of news recently that had been published on this issue.
Its time for the PH government to take a stern action against any party that is promoting to boycott products manufactured by non- Muslims.
Likewise, the non-Muslims should also not boycott buying products manufactured by Muslim entrepreneurs.
There should be NO DISCRIMINATION in producing and buying products.
Malaysians must realise that buying each others products will enhance the peace and harmony among our multi-racial, multi-cultural and multi-religious society in Malaysia.
Let's STOP this foolish idea of boycotting products and work together to improve the living standards of every Malaysian. - Mohd. Kamal Abdullah

ReplyDeletePlease define "Malay Products & Services." I buy quite a bit of what i need but am not sure about your definition so cannot list. I can feel your rant, which is egged on by swallowing what the politicians tell you. Relax, don't be a sheeple. BTW, would u classify Tenaga, Telekom, Syabas, Indah Water, etc. as part of "Malay Products & Services"?
Enjoy the day.
Animal fat including PORK fat is used in the manufacture of currency notes in 23 countries including Malaysia. So money is NOT HALAL . So what are the Malay Muslims going to do about it? Give it up? See -

WHILE Australia was the first country in the world to produce banknotes made from plastic (polymer), what many people don’t realise is that our currency uses tallow — rendered animal fat from sheep, PIGS and cows — as a ‘slip agent’ to prevent friction and static.[REF ABOVE LINK] So did those racist' morons realize and NOW ARE THEY GOING TO BOYCOT BANK NOTES ALSO?
I don't think the geng makan rasuah really care. This news came out in the first decade during zzzzzz reign but the best kicker was the Australian printers also paid under-table money to our UMNORIANS' Cronies. Rasuah punya pasal semua halal mah. Hadi Bawang proved that by referring to the Sarawak Report lawsuit about the $90million Camel chameleons received to keep quiet about 1MDB :)
