PETALING JAYA: The Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department today saved a man trapped under a crane at the Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Expressway highway construction site.
A 26-tonne crane had toppled over, trapping a 28-year-old Malaysian man underneath.
In a statement today, the Kuala Lumpur operations centre said it received a call this morning and sent personnel from the Cheras and Bandar Tun Razak fire stations to the location in Alam Damai, Cheras.
The victim who had broken a part of his left leg was sent to the Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia for treatment. - FMT
