KOTA KINABALU: Another Sabah assemblyman has tested positive for Covid-19. Tandek rep Hendrus Anding of PBS said he was found positive for the virus when he was back in his Kota Marudu home constituency on Jan 5.
“But I’m feeling fine and I have no symptoms whatsoever. I am only in quarantine at a low-risk centre in Kota Belud. No treatment is required for me – I feel healthy,” said Anding, who is also PBS assistant secretary-general.
He added that he was only awaiting orders to be discharged by the health ministry in the next eight days or so.
Two other assembly members tested positive for Covid-19 this week: deputy chief minister and STAR president Jeffrey Kitingan, and his party colleague Bingkor assemblyman Robert Tawik. - FMT
