PETALING JAYA: Several localities in Perak and Sabah will go under an enhanced movement control order (EMCO) for two weeks, said the National Security Council today.
Kampung Orang Asli Chadak in Tanjung Rambutan, in Perak’s Kinta district, would be placed under EMCO from Oct 3 to Oct 16.
In Sabah, Kampung Mokodou in Ranau would be placed under similar restrictions from Oct 4 to Oct 17.
The EMCO in Kampung Orang Asli Ulu Pareh in Bentong, Pahang, is extended for another two weeks starting Monday.
The EMCO at several localities in Sabah and Pahang will end tomorrow.
In Pahang, the localities are Kampung Sungai Kabuk, Kampung Sungai Tiang and Kampung Sungai Chohong in Lembah Bertam; Mukim Ulu Tenom in Cameron Highlands; and Kampung Orang Asli Sungai Koi, Hulu Cheka, in Jerantut.
The EMCO in Pasdec Bandar Damansara in Kuantan ended today, earlier than scheduled. In Sabah, the EMCO in Kampung Tamu Darat in Kota Belud would end tomorrow. - FMT
